A classic Ktown spot for a quick, quality Korean meal for lunch or before going out. Great variety of options that change daily. Service is nonexistent (fast casual) and ambiance is fine.

Woorijip will save your ass if you just want to take home some great food without dealing with all the late weekend night KTown craziness. I had just landed in the city and was not in the mood to wait in a huge line at a sit-down restaurant - even H-mart's check out line was snaking through the aisles and its food court was closed! Woorijip's kimbap and tofu stew was a full (and healthy, veggie-filled) meal for about $10, and it was delicious.

This is a family owned restaurant with lots of different Korean food that's premade and cooked on shelves and shelves when you enter the place! You can find almost any Korean appetizers and entrees here! The good thing about this is that it is self serve and prices are very affordable! Appetizers are less than $10 and entrees are either $11 or $12. I saw kimchi fried rice, Korean pancakes, beef bulgogi bowls, spicy squid rice, kimbap, fish cakes, desserts, assorted Asian beverages. You just grab a green basket or a green tray to pick any platter you want. There are dining tables at the back and end of the restaurant. If you pay with cash, you get 8% off your total purchase. Bathrooms are located in the back of the restaurant.

Woorijip marries convenience with wholesome food. I picked up food around 10am for lunch and snacks in my train ride. Many of the trays on the shelves were empty but steadily being stocked. The dishes brought out were still slightly warm from being prepared earlier that morning. Each shelf was marked with date and time prepared for food safety reasons. The flavor and preparation of each dish was perfect and thoughtful. I'd go here often if it were closer!

Always stop here whenever I'm in k town/ flat iron/ nomad area for some quick snacks or an easy solo lunch, and always make sure to try different kinds as the variety of options are paralyzing. Cash discount available (8%).

My husband and I stopped by to get a quick dinner before heading home this past Saturday evening. They have a wide selection of Korean dishes for takeaway or dine in. The service is good. I bought pan seared mackerel and kimchi fried rice with fried egg. I enjoyed both of the items and the prices are reasonable. I wouldn't mind dining there again when I'm in the area. The bathroom was clean as well. I just wish they had more comfortable seating. The chairs and tables are a bit high.

It's a no-frills store selling pre-made/pre-packaged foods like variety of kimbaps, glass noodles with mixed veggies, pan-fried imitation crab pancake, kimchi fried rice, meat and veggie based curries, rice platters, fried chicken, and banchan among other dishes at a reasonably affordable price. Conveniently located by the Q, N, R, W, B, D, F, M trains. The storefront might have looked small from the see-through display window, but it's actually pretty big & spacious towards the back. Amiable amount of seating both in the front and back. Staff would bring/roll out the pre-made food on a cart and stack them high on metal shelves on top of each other. There's also a slip of paper on the side stating what time the food is brought out and when they would discard it after some time (like 4 hours later) to ensure the quality & freshness of the food if no one happens to be buying them that day. Cashiers by the register are on the side of the space, customers can pay in both cash and/or credit card. The fridge of cold drinks is right next to the seating in the back, quite a different amount of choices to pick from. There's also a restroom in the back....I didn't need to use it afterwards, so I don't know if it's well maintained or not. What I Got: * Spicy Squid Kimbap w/ Purple Rice (lots of squid in between the rice roll & tastes so fresh within every bite) * Pan-Fried Imitation Crab Pancake (already smells so good even before opening the container) * Glass Noodles w/ Mixed Veggies (the noodles so lightweight to eat during the summer w/o feeling too full or heavy in my stomach after digestion) * Chicken Cutlet w/ Veggie Curry (curry so flavorful w/o being too salty + chicken cutlet not salty at all, only thing is it might not be crunchy anymore) But, everything's so delicious overall!!! Can't wait to go back and try everything else. Lastly, they close on Sundays.

We craved for Korean food and saw long line up at the restaurant at Korean Town on Friday night. So, we went to Woorijip in hope to get a quick dinner. The store was packed with lots of people. It has good selections of Korean food with affordable price: Kimbab, Japjae, fried rice, sushi, Korean drinks. There were seating area at the front & back of the store but it was packed. So we had to wait for other people finishing their meal & got a table. - Kimchi fried rice: delicious & flavorful fried rice. It had a good balanced of sourness from the kimchi & savory spices. - Inari sushi: the sushi pieces were big. They were good. - Beef bulgogi kimbap: the portion was pretty generous for the price. The kimbap was good - filled with lots of beef at the center. - Spicy gochujang chicken: it was good but I wish to be more spicy & crispier. The chicken meat was juicy and the sauce was good.

Amazing spot for quick, delicious, cheap Korean food in Ktown! Came here with a group of six and was able to grab a table. There are many shelves of fresh-made food with a large variety, from kimchi fried rice, seafood stew, kimbap, banchans, katsu, etc! There is something for everyone if you're going with a big group. I got the beef japchae ($8), which was super flavorful and yummy, as well as the fish cakes, bean sprouts, small side of kimchi ($2), and anchovies. The bean sprouts were my favorite side, and they were so were crisp and refreshing. The kimchi was also good but not as salty / flavorful as I've had or made previously, There is also a fairly large alcohol selection that is priced well compared to bars in the area ($13 for Soju) and rice wine. I'd definitely come back here if ever in the Ktown area!!
